With access to an in‑house laboratory, advanced endoscopy and ultrasonography, our highly skilled team is well equipped to investigate and manage complex medical cases.

  • Unexplained weight loss, vomiting and/or diarrhoea
  • Complex chronic kidney disease (CKD) requiring frequent monitoring and tailored treatment
  • Respiratory disease, including chronic cough or collapse episodes
  • Increased thirst and urination
  • Complex hormonal and endocrine disorders
  • Anaemia and blood clotting abnormalities
  • Investigation, staging and treatment of cancer, including chemotherapy
  • Urinary tract disorders such as persistent or recurrent UTIs, incontinence and haematuria
  • Hepatic and renal disease, including diagnosis of portosystemic shunts

  • Gastrointestinal radiography, endoscopy, ultrasonography and biopsy
  • Bronchoscopy and rhinoscopy, including diagnostic sampling
  • Endoscopic foreign body removal from the oesophagus, stomach and airways

  • Thoracic and abdominal ultrasound examinations, including minimally invasive biopsy techniques
  • Bone marrow aspiration and coagulation testing
  • Critical care and advanced pain management, including trauma cases
  • Investigation of pyrexia of unknown origin (PUO)
  • Diagnosis and management of infectious diseases, including FIP

Gavan Curley

 

DVM MRCVS PgC GPCert MRCVS RCVS Advanced Practitioner in Small Animal Medicine

Gavan qualified as a veterinary surgeon in 2011 and began his career in a small animal practice in the North West of England. After four years in practice, Gavan and his family relocated to Stamford, where he has continued to develop his clinical expertise.

Gavan has a strong interest in ultrasound imaging, cardiology and internal medicine, and particularly enjoys managing complex medical cases. In 2025, he achieved a PgC/GPCert in Internal Medicine, demonstrating his commitment to ongoing professional development and high‑quality patient care.
