David Cawte qualified from London in 1990. After a few years in mixed practice, he changed to work solely with family pets and gained wide experience in all disciplines of general practice at several practices around the country.
He moved to Rutland in 1997 and joined Stamford Veterinary Centre as its first full time vet in 2009, becoming a director in 2011. He enjoys the wide variety of work passing through the practice and seeing pets develop into happy healthy individuals.
Outside work, he tries to spend time with his family and garden, and also enjoys running and, more recently, ballroom dancing.
